Angelika Becker currently teaches high school in Indiana, but has experience at all levels, including elementary and adult learners. She coordinates the GAPP program at her school and participates in the annual AP Reading. She has presented at the local, regional and national level. She earned her BA from Indiana University and her MA from UNL.

Wer spielt mit?
Learning by doing, learning while playing. This workshop will get participants up and moving while using the target language in activities and games. Lesen und lesen lassen! The presenter will share reading strategies, activities, and approaches that will help students become more proficient readers in German. Teaching writing often seems like a monumental task. The presenter will share strategies and lessons that help students become better writers in German, starting in level I. Green Germany, renewable energy, recycling are topics that are absent from most textbooks, but need to be incorporated into the German curriculum.
